Remove the spring washer - 2 - and lever - 3 - from the shift rod - 4 -.

Bend the tabs on the locking washer - 2 - back using a screwdriver.

If the tabs on the locking washer break while bending, the locking washer must be replaced.

Remove the nut - 1 -.

Remove the bolts - 5 -.
