Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Transmission Output Speed Sensor

Removing

-

Remove the valve body. Refer to => [ Valve Body ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Valve Body/Service and
Repair/Valve Body.

Remove the bolt - 2 - for the transmission output speed (RPM) sensor (G195).

-

Remove the sensor from the transmission.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following:

Press the sensor into the transmission until seated.

Install the bolt - 2 - for the transmission output speed (RPM) sensor. Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ]

Install the valve body. Refer to => [ Valve Body ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Valve Body/Service and
