Steering Gear

‹› With Power Steering Control Module (J500).

‹› With Electro-mechanical Power Steering Motor (V187).

‹› With Steering Torque Sensor (G269).

‹› Can be checked in Guided Fault Finding with the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051/).

Wheel Bearing Housing

Nut

‹› M12 x 1.5

‹› Tighten to 100 Nm, then loosen by 180° and tighten to 100 Nm again.

‹› Self-locking.

‹› Always replace after removal.

‹› M10 x 70

‹› 50 Nm + 90° turn

‹› Always replace the clamp for the steering gear.

‹› Always replace after removal.
