Torque Converter Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Extractor Lever (VW 681)

‹› Thrust Piece (T10175)

Removing

‹› Transmission is removed, refer to one of the following:

Passat with Front Wheel Drive (FWD), refer to => [ Transmission, with Front Wheel Drive ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and

Passat with All Wheel Drive (AWD), refer to => [ Transmission, with All Wheel Drive ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and

CC with FWD, refer to => [ Transmission, with Front Wheel Drive ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/09M,09MA

Remove the torque converter.

-

Pry out the seal using (VW 681).

Installing

-

Drive in the seal until seated using (T10175).
