‹› If the (T10398) falls out:

-

Install the (T10398) to the seal with 120 Nm of force.

-

Remove the seal.

Installing

-

Install the seal - 1 - onto the (T10400).

The spring - arrow - points away from the thrust piece.

-

Drive in seal until seated

-

Turn the (T10400) inside the transmission before removing it.

Install the bevel box, refer to one of the following:

Passat and CC, refer to => [ Bevel Box ] .

Tiguan, refer to => [ Bevel Box ] .

Check the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) level and top off if necessary. Refer to => [ Automatic Transmission Fluid Level, Checking and
