Removing

-

Remove noise insulation.

-

Remove pendulum support bolts - 1 - and -  2 -.

-

Press the engine and transmission forward and secure position with a suitable wood block - A -.

-

Support the front part of the exhaust system using the engine and transmission holder (V.A.G 1383 A).

-

Disconnect the exhaust system at the clamping sleeve - arrows  - when removing the rear exhaust system components.
