Oil Pump: Service and Repair

Haldex Clutch Pump

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque wrench, 2 to 10 Nm (V.A.G 1783)

‹› Drip tray for VAS 6100 (VAS 6208)

Removing

-

Switch ignition off.

-

Place reservoir underneath.

-

Remove drain plug - A - and completely drain the high performance Haldex clutch oil.

-

Install drain plug - A - with new seal and tighten to 30 Nm.

-

Lower rear final drive slightly. Bolt - arrow - for the final drive from mounting bracket must be loosened approximately 7 turns to do so.

-

Disconnect the pump connector - arrow - from the control module.
