Shift Cable: Testing and Inspection

Selector lever cable, checking and adjusting 
Special tools, workshop equipment, testers, measuring instruments and auxiliary items required

80-200 Removal lever

-

VAG 1331 Torque wrench

Checking 

-

Shift selector lever into "P" position.

-

Raise vehicle.

-

Remove noise insulation tray-arrows-.

Vehicles with V6 engine 

-

Remove front exhaust system with catalyst.

-

Remove selector lever cable protective plate.

Continued for all vehicles 

-

Remove left-hand transmission bracket.
