Push selector lever cable -1- fully forward -arrow- and shift selector shaft lever -2- into position "2".

Using a pair of pliers, carefully push the selector lever cable onto the selector shaft lever. When doing this, take care not to bend the selector shaft
lever, otherwise the selector mechanism will not be able to be adjusted correctly.

Bring selector shaft lever in position "P" on transmission. Locking lever must engage in park lock wheel, both front wheels are blocked (cannot be
turned together in a direction).

Do not bend or kink the selector lever cable, lightly grease cable eye and cable ends before installing.

Insert selector lever cable in mounting bracket.

-

Connect selector lever cable to selector lever.

Installation position:
The angled end of the locking plate must point toward the end of the selector lever cable.

Fit locking plate -A- for selector lever cable onto mounting bracket.

-

Press together ends of securing clip -B- and slide onto end of selector lever cable.

-

Connect selector lever cable to support bracket (hand-tight).

-

Bolt support bracket to transmission (hand-tight).

-

Align selector cable lever in support bracket.

-

Tighten bolts securing support bracket to transmission -arrows 1- and secure selector lever cable to support bracket -arrow 2- to specified torque,
B-Support bracket. When doing this, counter hold on hex -arrow 3-.

Tighten nuts (Qty. 4).

-

Check selector lever cable adjustment, adjust if necessary.

Remove left-hand transmission bracket.
