Install shims as follows:

-

Loosen plastic nuts on assembly device -arrows A- until intermediate bearing retaining bracket-2- has clearance -a- on one side to stud -1-.

Place shim as measured -1- on stud and swing intermediate bearing retaining bracket -2- to other side.

-

Place 2nd shim -4- on stud -3-.

-

Tighten both plastic nuts on assembly device -arrow A-.
Center driveshaft longitudinally:

-

Slide driveshaft to rear onto stop with assembly appliance.

-

Mark position of intermediate mount on body (arrow -A-).

-

Slide driveshaft forward onto stop with assembly appliance.
