Front Door Hinge: Service and Repair

Door Hinges, Assembly Overview 

NOTE: 

-

The description applies to the right side. The left side is derived accordingly from this.

Bolts for door hinges must always be replaced after loosening.

-

The tightening torque for the bolts from the door hinge to the door - 2,4 and 12 - has changed.

Always replace bolts after loosening

Upper portion is attached to lower portion of hinge with screw - 8 -.

Hinge is divided

Installed from the vehicle interior

Remove lower A-pillar trim

20 Nm + 1/4 additional turn (90°)

Always replace bolts after loosening
