Before continuing with removal, have a second technician secure the front driveshaft tube.

Remove the driveshaft intermediate bearing bolts- arrows  - from the vehicle.

Guide the driveshaft forward toward the front end. Press the engine transmission assembly forward slightly if necessary.

Then remove the driveshaft from the rear final drive flange.

Then remove the driveshaft from the bevel box output flange.

‹› Do not tilt the driveshaft when removing it, remove it horizontally from the centering pins. Seal/centering sleeve - arrow - must not be damaged,

otherwise driveshaft must be replaced.
