Support the front part of the exhaust system using the engine and transmission holder (V.A.G 1383 A).

Disconnect the exhaust system at the clamping sleeve - arrows - when removing the rear exhaust system components.

Remove the tunnel brace.
-
Loosen the bolts - arrows - for the center bearing two turns.
