Piston resetting tool

Removing 

^

Force pistons individually out of brake caliper housing using compressed air.

Note:  Only one piston at a time can be forced out. Hold the other piston in the caliper using the piston resetting tool -b-. Place a wooden board -a-
in the recess of the caliper housing to prevent damaging the piston.

Remove seal using 3409 wedge.

Note:  When removing make sure that the surface of the cylinder is not damaged.

Installing

Clean surfaces of the piston and seal (use only appropriate solvent) then dry.

Apply a thin coat of paste G 052 150 A2 to piston and seal before installing.

^

Install oil seal in brake caliper housing.
