Verify software level of Climate Control Head -arrow-.
If software level of climate control head is "0007":

Further diagnosis is required. Do not complete this Technical Bulletin.
If software level of climate control head is "0006":
^
Return to Vehicle Start-up screen.

Replace climate control head with new climate control head, Part No. 3B7 907 044 (SW 0007). See Repair Manual, Group 87, A/C control head
-E87- with Climatronic control module -J255-, removing and installing.
Tip:
Replacement climate control head must have a software level 0007 (SW 0007), see sticker on control head (arrow).

From Start-up screen, select "Vehicle Self-Diagnosis".

Select vehicle system "08 - Air conditioning/heating electronics".
^
Select diagnosis function "007 - Coding".
^
Input "27210" on keypad.
^
Select "Q" button to confirm.
