Front Cross-Member Bushing: Service and Repair
Subframe Bushings

Subframe Bushings Replacing 

Special tools required 

Pulling out bonded rubber bushing
-

Saw off/cut-off rubber shoulder on subframe bushing up to outer bushing.

Note:  If the paint surface on the subframe is damaged, treat the surface for corrosion protection.

Pulling out rear bonded rubber bushing
If the rubber shoulder is not completely removed, tool 3372 cannot seat correctly and will fall off.

Pulling out bonded rubber bushing

Note:  All bonded rubber bushings on the subframe are pulled out with the same tool.
