Final Drive Fluid: Testing and Inspection
Front final drive oil level, checking

Oil level is checked with transmission installed
Checking

Raise vehicle.

Remove plug (arrow) to check oil level and top off gear oil up to lower edge of hole.
Gear oil specification
-
Replace O-ring.
-
Install bolt.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
