Drive Axle With Constant Velocity Joint

Drive axle with constant velocity joint, assembly 

Grease quantity and type:

Constant velocity joints are packed with grease, Part No. G 000 603:
Regrease the joint, if necessary, when replacing the protective boot.

1. Circlip

Always replace

Remove and install with VW161a

2. Gasket

^

Replacing: Pull off protective foil and stick onto joint.

3. Inner constant velocity joint

^

Outer diameter: 100 or 108 mm depending on engine/transmission combination

^ Only replace complete
