6 - Main key with variable code transponder

To be able to differentiate between a key with transponder and a key with variable code transponder the main key has a "w" stamped on it.

Removing

-

Insert a screwdriver in slot between transmitter unit -1- and main key -2-.

-

Move screwdriver in direction of arrow and unclip transmitter unit from main key.

Pry transmitter unit apart on two locating tabs -arrows-.

Unclip upper battery -1- from retainers -2- by moving screwdriver in direction of arrow.

Contact plate -1- has two straight edges. Turn these edges toward retainers to remove contact plate.

NOTE:  The contact plate can also be unclipped with a screw driver. Unclip lower battery from retainers with a screwdriver.

Installing

Observe the polarity and correct position when installing the batteries.
