Remove (lift) parking brake cable out of slot with screwdriver.

-

Remove center console extension

-

Press parking brake cable in direction of parking brake lever using a screwdriver and push ball out of retainer.

-

Remove parking brake cable.

Installing 

-

Remove any plastic parts on compensator; they do not need to be re-installed.

-

Hold compensator from turning with screwdriver.

-

Insert ball head through slot in compensator.

-

Parking brake cable must engage in retainer.

-

Secure parking brake cables to rear axle beam.

-

Adjust parking brake.

-

Install center console extension.
