Pull 5 pin connector -1- off ignition coil final stage -2-.

Remove fuse 28 (fuel pump) or pull connectors off all injectors.

Have a second technician fully depress accelerator pedal.

Check compression with compression tester VAG1381/VAG1763, operating starter until tester shows no further pressure increase.

Compression pressure: 

-

New: 9 - 14 bar  

-

Wear limit: 7.5 bar 

Permissible difference between all cylinders: 3 bar
