Aligning to Vehicle

Axle beam, aligning to vehicle 

Aligning axle beam transversely 

-

Determine distance between axle beam and longitudinal member
Gap -a- must be same on left and right-hand sides.

Aligning axle beam longitudinally

Measure dimension -a-
Dimension -a- 418 ± 2 mm (16.46 ± 0.078 inch)

Tighten bolts for axle beam to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) + 90° 

-

Road test vehicle and check position of steering wheel.

CAUTION:  If the steering wheel is not in the straight-ahead position the wheel alignment must be checked.
