Remove nut -1- and take out suspension strut.

Installing

Install suspension strut so that hole (arrow) in lower spring retainer points to center of vehicle.

Bolt suspension strut to support control arm.
-

Tighten new nut to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).

Insert upper control arm into swing arm and tighten new nut -2- to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).

Note:  When tightening press upper control arm downward as far as possible

Insert ABS wheel speed sensor wiring into retainer on brake caliper.

-

Install new nuts for suspension strut and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

CAUTION:  Ensure that the surface of the brake lines is not damaged.

-

Install rubber grommets in plenum chamber.

-

Install wheel and tighten to 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.)
