Do not kink selector lever cable

-

Install selector lever cable in mounting bracket.

-

Install mounting bracket on body.
Tighten nuts (Qty. 4) from above to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).

-

Connect harness connectors.

-

Install locking cable and adjust.

-

Install cover.

-

Shift selector lever into position "2."

-

Install selector lever handle.

-

Connect selector lever cable to selector lever.

-

Install locking plate -A- for selector lever cable onto mounting bracket.

-

Installation position: the angled end of the locking plate must point toward the end of the selector lever cable

-

Press together ends of securing clip -B- and slide onto end of selector lever cable.

-

Install cover. When doing this check position of seal.

-

Tighten nuts (Qty. 4) to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).

-

Check selector lever cable adjustment, adjust if necessary.

-

Check operation of ignition key withdrawal lock.

-

Install drive shaft.

-

Install front left and right-hand exhaust pipes.

-

Install center console and extension.

-

Reconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.

-

Input correct coding for anti-theft radio (if equipped).

-

Check selector mechanism.
