Wiring Harness: Service and Repair

Wiring harness in transmission, removing and installing 

Removing 
Remove the valve body.

Using small screwdriver, pry out retaining tabs on solenoid valve harness connectors, and disconnect harness connectors -A- one-after-another.

Disengage wiring harness front retainers -B- on side of valve body.

Turn valve body over and disconnect harness connector from sensor for transmission RPM -G182- (item -1-).

Remove first retaining clip (arrow -A-) and unclip wiring harness from second retaining clip (arrow -B-).

Disconnect harness connector -2- from solenoid valve 4 -N91-.

Installing 
Installation is the reverse of removal.

When installing wiring harness, connect harness connectors onto respective solenoid valves.

Clip wiring harness into retaining clips provided. If not installed correctly, harness can be trapped when valve body is installed.

Install the valve body.
