Remove nuts - arrows - and remove wiper motor.

Remove phillips head bolts - 2 -, disconnect harness connector - 3 - and remove brake lights - 1 -.

Disconnect harness connectors for heated rear window and press connector tabs onto window.

Loosen sealing lip from window flange all around using plastic wedge and spray in Cleaning solution D 009 401 04 (as a substitute for lubricant).

Bond window flange at bottom with fabric reinforced adhesive tape - arrow -.

Insert guide needle - 2 - from Window removing kit V.A.G 1755 using handle - 1 - under sealing lip and push through adhesive bead (use side
areas, wear gloves).

Hold guide needle as close to glass as possible (do not damage heating element).

Remove handle - 1 - and thread cutting cord through eye of needle.

-

Using pliers and wearing gloves, pull one end of cutting cord into vehicle interior.
