Evaporator Case: Diagrams

Evaporator Housing, Assembly 

Note:  Remove heater box/evaporator housing before replacing any parts marked with an *.

1*- Upper evaporator housing
2 - Fresh air blower series resistance with fuse (N24)
3*- Seal
4*- Air intake ring
5*- Fresh air/recirculation flap vacuum servo
6*- Fresh air/recirculation flap
7 - Fresh air blower (V 2)
8*- Lower evaporator housing
9 - A/C evaporator temperature. switch (E 33)

10 - Cover
11 - Retaining strap
12 - Cover
13 - Evaporator water drain valve
14 - Seal
15*- Heater (air distribution) box
