Gear Selector Housing

COMPONENT NOTES AND INFORMATION

Removing, refer to Fig. 1, below.

Installing, refer to Fig. 2, below.

Boot

Pull off from frame 

-

Connect to shift knob before installing

Rubber cover with frame

Always remove and install together

-

After installing, install boot -5-

Plastic nut 

-

Attaches console to gearshift housing -11-

-

Remove before removing gear selector mechanism

Spacer sleeve 

-

Installed between console and gearshift housing -11-

Gasket 

-

Between gearshift housing and floor 

-

Self-adhesive

-

Attach to gearshift housing

Hex bolt

-

For mounting plate to gearshift housing

-

Tighten to: 15 Nm (11 ft lbs)

Attach to underside of gearshift housing

Gasket Install between selector cables and gearshift housing
