Brake master cylinders and brake servos from different manufacturers are installed. Complete master cylinders and brake servos can be replaced
independently of each other.

Tighten to: 20 Nm (15 ft lb)

On gas engines the vacuum required is taken from the intake manifold
-
On diesel engines a vacuum pump is required to create the required vacuum
-
Booster functional check
Depress brake pedal several times with engine not running, to relieve vacuum.
Depress and hold brake pedal while starting engine.
If booster function is OK, pedal will drop slightly as vacuum builds and boost takes effect.

If faulty replace complete.
