Front Bumper Cover, Removing and Installing

Up to 09/2000

Front Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing --> 09.00

Removing

-

Remove turn signals.  See: Lighting and Horns/Turn Signals/Turn Signal Lamp/Service and Repair/Front Turn Signal and Side Marker Light
Housing

-

Remove release lever -15- from hood latch.  See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch Release/Service and Repair

-

Remove bolts -9-, -10- and -14-.

-

Remove bumper cover -1- from guide pieces -4- (left and right sides) parallel, with a second mechanic.

Disconnect harness connectors of installed electrical components and hoses.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal.

Make sure gaps are parallel and gap dimensions.
