Shift Cable: Adjustments
01N Automatic Transmission

Adjusting

Selector lever cable disconnected from selector shaft lever.
-

Shift selector lever into Park position "P".

Shift selector shaft lever to "P" The parking lock should engage and it should not be possible to turn the two front wheels in the same direction.

-

Loosen securing bolt on support bracket -3-.

-

Press selector lever cable -1- onto selector shaft lever -2-.

-

Align selector lever cable stress-free on support bracket.

-

Tighten support bracket bolt - 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).

Check selector mechanism.  See: Testing and Inspection
