Flex Plate: Service and Repair

 
Sealing flanges and flywheel/drive plate, removing and installing 

Note:

For repairs to the clutch; Refer to Clutch, M/T.

1. Oil seal

To remove oil seal, remove sealing flange

^

Install with 10203

^

Lightly oil sealing lip

2. Woodruff key

^

Ensure tight fit

3. 25 Nm 
4. Sealing flange
5. Gasket

^

Always replace

6. Cylinder block

^

Removing and installing crankshaft Refer to Engine.

^

Disassembling and assembling pistons and conrods, Refer to Engine.

7. 60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further  

^

Always replace

8. Dual-mass flywheel/drive plate

^

Lock with 3067 to remove and install flywheel

^

Intermediate plate

Must be located on dowel sleeves
