Carefully pull over gear selector cable end piece

-

Apply MoS2 grease

Relay lever
-

Remove from transmission before removing clutch controls

Installation position, refer to Selector Lever/Relay Lever. See: Service and Repair

Self-locking hex nut
-

Always replace

-

Tighten to: 15 Nm (11 ft lb)

-

Loosen only to adjust gear selector mechanism

Actuating arm
-

With pivot pin to mount relay lever

-

Installation position, refer to Selector Lever/Relay Lever. See: Service and Repair

Rubber bushing

For gate selector cable connection to actuating arm

-

Drive out drive in with drift

Self-locking hex bolt
-

Always replace

-

Tighten to: 20 Nm (15 ft lb)

Balance weight

Remove to adjusting gear selector mechanism

Self-locking hex nut

For gear selector cable to selector housing

-

Always replace

-

Tighten to: 15 Nm (11 ft lb)
