Remove the rear lid trim panel.

-

Remove the nuts - 5 - from the threaded pins and remove the cover - 6 - from the rear lid.

Remove the nuts - 4 - from the threaded pins for the button and remove the cap - 3 -.

-

Disconnect the connector - 7 -.

-

Remove the button - 1 - from the rear lid.

The rear lid can be opened using the emergency release in the lock if there is an electrical malfunction. The emergency release is reached through an
opening in the rear lid trim panel.
