Remove the engine cover => [ Engine Cover, Removing and Installing ] See: Cylinder Head Assembly/Service and Repair/Engine Cover,
Removing and Installing.

Remove the vacuum pump => [ Vacuum Pump, Removing and Installing ] See: Brakes and Traction Control/Power Brake Assist/Vacuum
Pump/Service and Repair/Vacuum Pump, Removing and Installing.

-

Remove the noise insulation => Noise Insulation.

-

Remove the front part of the right wheel housing liner and/or the front right wheel housing liner => Wheel Housing Liner. 

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove the air guide pipe by lifting the clamps - items 1 and 2 -.

-

Disconnect the connector from the Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N205) - 1 -.

-

Remove the bolts - arrows - and then the camshaft adjustment valve 1 (N205).

-

Remove the upper timing chain cover => [ Upper Timing Chain Cover, Removing and Installing ] See: Timing Components/Timing Cover/Service
and Repair/Upper Timing Chain Cover, Removing and Installing. 

CAUTION!
The control valve has a left thread.

Remove the control valve using Assembly Tool 10352 (T10352) in the - direction of arrow -.
