Cylinder block

‹› If the cylinder block is being replaced, then the bearing shells must be re-allocated => [ Allocation of the crankshaft bearing shells (classing) ]

‹› With lubricating groove

‹› do not interchange used bearing shells (mark)

‹› Crankshaft bearing shell identification => [ Allocation of the crankshaft bearing shells (classing) ]

Crankshaft

‹› after removal, place in such a way it does not rest on sensor wheel -  item 5 - and damage it

‹› If the crankshaft is being replaced, then the bearing shells must be re-allocated to the bearing cover => [ Allocation of the crankshaft bearing

shells (classing) ]

‹› do not turn crankshaft when measuring radial play
