Tighten the crankshaft bolts in - 1 to 5 - sequence: 

1. Tighten the bolts - 1 through 10 - and -  arrows - by hand.

2. Tighten the bolts - 1 through 10 - to 65 Nm.

3. Tighten the bolts - 1.. 10 - an additional 90° using a rigid wrench.

4. Pre-tighten the bolts - arrows - to 20 Nm.

5. Tighten the bolts - arrows - 90° further using a rigid wrench.

Sensor Wheel, Removing and Installing

Remove engine.

-

Remove the crankshaft sealing flange => [ Transmission-Side Sealing Flange, Removing and Installing ] See: Crankshaft Seal Retainer/Service
and Repair/Transmission-Side Sealing Flange, Removing and Installing.

Remove the upper section of the oil pan => [ Oil Pan, Upper Section, Removing and Installing ] See: Engine Lubrication/Oil Pan/Service and
Repair/Oil Pan, Upper Section, Removing and Installing.

Remove the balance shaft timing chain => [ Balance Shaft Timing Chain, Removing and Installing ] See: Balance Shaft Chain/Service and
Repair/Balance Shaft Timing Chain, Removing and Installing. 

-

Remove the connecting rod bearing cover.

-

Remove the crankshaft bearing cover.

-

Remove the crankshaft and then remove the sensor wheel.

Always replace sensor wheel - 2 - whenever bolts are removed - 1 -.
