Remove the noise insulation.

Remove the crossmember.

-

Remove the floor panel trim.

-

Disconnect the front exhaust pipe at the double clamp and remove it from the subframe.

-

Disengage the rear exhaust system and remove the heat shield.

-

Pivot the shift housing downward and remove it with the cables.

Installing

Install in reverse sequence; note the following points:

-

Align the shift housing parallel to body.

‹› Distance to the body must be the same on both sides.

Tightening specifications for the shift housing nuts, refer to - item 26 -=> [ Nut ] See: Shift Mechanism Overview or - item 16 -=> [ Nut ] See: Shift
