So that the wire does not become trapped when installing the valve body, route the wire with connector -C- according to the diagram.

Lubricate new O-rings for connector on wiring harness with ATF.

Fit connector in transmission housing with flat part -arrow A- facing toward oil pan.

Align dowel pin on valve body-arrow B with drilling in transmission housing -arrow C-.
-
Place valve body in position so that pin of detent plate -1-, engages in slot on selector slide -2-.
