Removing

• ‒ → Clamp door handle (on key) in a vice using vice clamps.
• ‒ Press paddle -1- down in direction of arrow.
• ‒ Pull out locking plate -2-.
• ‒ Take off paddle and spring.

• ‒ → Take mounting -1- and coupling plate -2- off lock cylinder.

• ‒ → Turn lock cylinder -1- through 90°.
• ‒ When doing this, ensure that the free wheel sleeve -2- does not also turn.
• ‒ Take lock cylinder out.

Installing

Lock cylinder inserted into handle.

• ‒ → Release door handle from vice and vice clamps.
• ‒ Fit mounting -1- and coupling plate -2 onto lock cylinder.

• ‒ → Fit spring -1- into lock cylinder housing so that the spring end points to rear.

• ‒ → Fit assembly tool T10009 so that smaller slot -arrow- is on spring -1-.

• ‒ → Press outer sleeve of assembly tool down until it lies on mounting -1-.

The assembly tool is shown sectionised to show the following assembly steps more clearly.

• ‒ → Turn assembly tool T10009 180° to right until the slot -arrow- points forwards.

• ‒ → Press assembly tool centre rod -1- down. This presses the spring together.
• ‒ The end of the spring jumps out of the slot and engages in the mounting.

• ‒ → Now lift the outer sleeve -1- of the assembly tool up carefully.

• Now the centre rod -2- is visible which is pushed over the lock cylinder.

• ‒ → Lift assembly tool T10009 until the groove in lock cylinder is visible.
• ‒ Spring -1- must be engaged in mounting -arrow-.
• ‒ The spring can be pushed into the slot in the lock cylinder with a screwdriver if an aid is required.
• ‒ Remove assembly tool.

• ‒ → Fit paddle onto spring and press down.
• ‒ A circular movement of the paddle releases the spring from the slot in the lock cylinder and it can be pressed together again.

• ‒ → Insert locking plate.

Perform functional check.
