Removing

• ‒ Unscrew wiper arms (M8 hexagon nuts = 20 Nm).

→ Note:

The plenum chamber trim must not be levered off with a tool (wedge). Otherwise the windscreen will become damaged and could later crack.

• ‒ → Lift plenum chamber trim -1- on the edge of windscreen.

• ‒ → Starting at the corner pull plenum chamber trim -1- out at right angles from the mounting slots in the lower edge of the windscreen.

Installing

→ Note:

Striking the plenum chamber trim can cause cracks in the windscreen.

• ‒ → To ease the fitting of the plenum chamber trim in the mounting slots -1-, the area should be sprayed with a soapy solution.

• ‒ → Press plenum chamber trim -1- in mounting slots, starting from centre in direction of arrow.
