• ‒ → Remove threaded pin -3- (7.5 Nm).
• ‒ Pull bellows -2- from B-pillar (only vehicles with central locking).

Vehicles with central locking

• ‒ → Push pipe connector for vacuum pipe apart with 7 mm open jaw spanner.

• ‒ New couplings on pipes have been gradually introduced in series production.
• ‒ → Release coupling -1- by pressing forward ring -arrow- together. Check coupling is correctly engaged when fitting.

Continuation all vehicles

• ‒ → Remove conical nut -1- from upper and lower hinge pins.
• ‒ Conical nut tightening torque = 30 Nm.
• ‒ Lift door upwards out of hinge brackets.
