General information on this ABS
The designation “Teves 20 GI” is discontinued for this ABS. The new designation is “ITT Mark 20 GI”.
As of 07. 97 (model year 98), the following ABS system was introduced:
ITT MARK 20 IE
Externally the ABS system is identical to the ITT Mark 20 GI system. The differences are in the control unit software → Running gear; Self-diagnosis for ABS; Rep. Gr.01.

ABS layout in left-hand drive vehicle.
The ABS, ABS/EDL brake system is divided diagonally. The brake servo assistance is provided pneumatically by the vacuum brake servo unit.
ITT Mark 20 GI/ITT Mark 20 IE ABS and ABS/EDL models do not have a mechanical brake pressure regulator. Specially matched software in the control unit regulates the rear axle brake pressure distribution.
