Note:

If the cover screws are loosened or tightened with a power tool the lower part of the thread can be damaged. Therefore the use of a power tool is only permissible when:

  • ◆ The power tool speed is max. 200 rpm
  • ◆ The tightening torque is set to max. 3 Nm

    • ◆ Renew if damaged
  • Rubber grommet

Scale A shows resistance values for temperature range 0...50 °C and scale B the values for temperature range 50...100 °C.

Examples:

  • ◆ 30 °C corresponds to a resistance from 1500...2000 ω
  • ◆ 80 °C corresponds to a resistance from 275...375 ω

  • ‒ Release accelerator cable and earth strap from retainers -arrows-. Then pull off hoses -1- and -2-.
  • ‒ Remove bolts -3- and take air cleaner off upwards.
