| Pull glow plug connectors off glow plugs. |

| Connect hand multimeter -V.A.G 1526C- to measure voltage between glow plug connector and vehicle earth. |

| Switch on ignition. Approx. battery voltage must be displayed for approx. 20 seconds. |
