Activated charcoal filter system
Servicing parts of the activated charcoal filter system

  • Retaining ring
  • Bracket
    • ◆ On body front right
  • Solenoid valve1 (N80)
    • ◆ Valve closed with ignition switched off
    • ◆ When the engine is warm the valve will be activated from the engine control unit (pulsed)
    • ◆ Checking activation:

=> Repair group 01; Final control diagnosis; Performing final control diagnosis

  • Connector
  • Breather pipe
    • ◆ From gravity/overflow valve on fuel tank
      , item 4

  • Throttle valve control part
  • Activated charcoal filter
    • ◆ Location: in front right wheel housing
    • ◆ Connection "MOTOR" to solenoid valve 1, item -3 -
    • ◆ Connection "TANK" with vacuum non-return valve
    • ◆ To remove, release securing tab -arrow- and push container out upwards
