| When working on the fuel supply and injection system, pay careful attention to the following “5 rules” for cleanliness: |

| Clean connection points and surrounding areas thoroughly before separating. |

| Place removed parts on clean surface and cover over. Use only lint-free cloths. |
| t
| If repairs are not carried out immediately, cover over or seal components which have been opened. |
| t
| Install only clean parts: do not remove replacement parts from packaging until immediately prior to installation. Do not use parts that have not been stored in their original packaging (e.g. in toolboxes). |

| If system is open: do not use compressed air if possible. Do not move vehicle unless absolutely necessary. |
