Removing and installing lock cylinder
Removing and installing lock cylinder
  Note
Steering lock housing which has been drilled must not be installed again.
Removing:
–  Remove steering lock housing → Chapter
Vehicles with removable immobilizer reader coil:
   
–  Mark drilling hole on steering lock housing.
a - 12 mm
b - 10 mm
Vehicles with an immobilizer reader coil which is permanently secured to the lock cylinder:
  V94-0576
–  Mark drilling hole on steering lock housing.
a - 9.5 mm
b - 10 mm
Continuation for all vehicles:
–  Drill into steering lock housing (approx. 3 mm), until the lock cylinder spring is evident.
–  Using opposite end of drill compress lock spring and pull out lock cylinder.
Installing:
  Note
Steering lock housing which has been drilled must not be installed again.
–  Push lock cylinder into new steering lock housing.
–  By slightly turning key in lock cylinder it can be pushed in onto stop.
–  Install steering lock housing → Chapter
