| Open the front bonnet and support it. |

| Place a small screwdriver underneath the spring clip -3-. |
| –
| Raise the spring clip -3- enough to allow it to move over the ball joint housing to the -direction of arrow-. |

| Pull the shock absorber -1- from the ball plugs -2- and the support bracket with the ball plugs -4-. |
| –
| After removing the shock absorber -1-, immediately move the spring clip -3- backwards. |
WARNING | In case of reusing the shock absorber, please proceed carefully. The spring clamp cannot be entirely risen outward the ball joint housing; otherwise, it will be damaged. The shock absorber jumps from the fastening, causing damage or injuries. |

Note | The ball plug, -4- is an integral part of the support stand. |
