Assemble > < Rear door latch cylinder - disassemble and assemble

Disassemble
Disassemble
–  Remove the rear door lock cylinder housing.
–  Insert the key in the cylinder.
   
–  Remove the lock -arrow-.
–  Remove the spring.
–  Release the operating rod and remove the operating ring.
–  Remove the cylinder along with the key, from the housing.
–  Remove the sealing ring.
–  Clean the cylinder, removing all the dirt and grease remains.

–  Manually press the gorges in the cylinder and, then, carefully remove the key.
–  Slowly loosen the cylinder, releasing the pressure from the gorge springs.

–  Remove the gorges and the springs, marking their position in relation to the cylinder.
  Note
The gorges are identified by numbers from 1 to 4 (it is also possible to identify the gorges through colours). Write down the sequence, in the example - 2 3 1 4 3 2 3 or then, 2 1, on the lower section, and 3 4 3 2 3, on the upper section.
